Cindy is devoted to promoting dementia awareness and empowering caregivers through education. With over 21 years of experience in long term care, Cindy is dedicated to those individuals who are living with brain change. She has completed 5 certifications gaining the skills and knowledge known as "Positive Approach to Care" founded by the well-known Teepa Snow.

She is able to share this knowledge and these skills as a PAC Certified Independent Champion Teacher, Certified Independent Trainer, Certified Independent Consultant, Certified Independent Enhanced Trainer, and Certified Independent Engagement leader.

Her training and certifications give her the opportunity to teach these programs that are designed to provide caregivers with the tools and support they need to provide compassionate and effective care to individuals affected by dementia. By enhancing caregiver capabilities, we will positively impact the lives of those they care for, leading to a positive quality of life with dignity and respect. When using these tools, we as a community can change the stigma of dementia.
